They're in French style casaques (after Vrancx and Meissonier), lacy collars, riding boots, and broad brimmed hats with feathers. They may bring to mind a certain set of characters from classic literature, but have many uses beyond that. Perfect for any early / mid-C17th skirmish game in fact. En garde!
